The exterior inspection method, interior inspection method, and inspection date must be delivered no more than once for each Appraiser and/or Supervisory Appraiser. In the UAD XML, only one instance of INSPECTION_DETAIL must be included for each Appraiser and/or Supervisory Appraiser. For assistance with this message, contact the appraisal software vendor.

Fatal — a single unresolved Fatal makes the entire submission come back NOT SUCCESSFUL (UCDP Hard Stop 401).

What triggers UAD1268

The published rule logic, verbatim:

If PartyRoleType = "Appraiser" or "AppraiserSupervisor" and (no instance of INSPECTION_DETAIL is provided for each role or more than one instance of INSPECTION_DETAIL is provided for each role)

• Checked for the Subject property.
• Bound to MISMO data point INSPECTION_DETAIL at ../VALUATION_ANALYSIS/PROPERTIES/PROPERTY/INSPECTIONS/INSPECTION/INSPECTION_DETAIL/

How to fix it

On the URAR, this lives at: Assignment Information → Contact Information → Subject Property Inspection. Complete or correct that field in your form software, regenerate the package, and re-check before submission.

Because this is a Fatal edit, do not submit until it is resolved — one Fatal bounces the whole package.
