The exterior inspection method, interior inspection method, and inspection date must be associated with the party that performed the inspection. In the UAD XML, one instance of RELATIONSHIP must be included for each Appraiser and/or Supervisory Appraiser that links INSPECTION to ROLE. For assistance with this message, contact the appraisal software vendor.

Fatal — a single unresolved Fatal makes the entire submission come back NOT SUCCESSFUL (UCDP Hard Stop 401).

What triggers UAD1747

The published rule logic, verbatim:

If PartyRoleType = "Appraiser" or "AppraiserSupervisor" and there is no instance of RELATIONSHIP provided for each role that links INSPECTION to the associated ROLE.

How to fix it

On the URAR, this lives at: Assignment Information → Contact Information → Subject Property Inspection. Complete or correct that field in your form software, regenerate the package, and re-check before submission.

Because this is a Fatal edit, do not submit until it is resolved — one Fatal bounces the whole package.
