The amount related to the transfer of ownership of real property (typically the sale price) must be greater than or equal to $0.
Fatal — a single unresolved Fatal makes the entire submission come back NOT SUCCESSFUL (UCDP Hard Stop 401).
What triggers UAD1197
The published rule logic, verbatim:
If OwnershipTransferTransactionAmount < 0 in a given instance of SALES_HISTORY
- • Checked for the Subject property.
- • Minimum allowed value: 0.
- • Bound to MISMO data point

How to fix it
On the URAR, this lives at: Prior Sale and Transfer History → Subject Transfer History → Amount (%PV%). Complete or correct that field in your form software, regenerate the package, and re-check before submission.
Because this is a Fatal edit, do not submit until it is resolved — one Fatal bounces the whole package.
